Whatever you fill it with…
a freshly baked Gluten-Free Baguette is amazing!
I know you might not believe that this is actually a gluten-free baguette, but it is, and it is deliciously soft and chewy on the inside and crisp and delicious on the outside. Right after this photograph was taken, my husband and I devoured this for lunch.
The Sausage and Melted Cheese filling from the bottom up.
Butter the bottom of the Baguette, and add some mayo. I like Duke’s Real Mayonnaise, the original formula, because it is sugar-free and gluten-free. I also sometimes use Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise. Layer with fresh baby lettuce leaves and fresh sprigs of Cilantro. Place the cooked gluten-free sausage and a generous slice of Mozzarella Cheese on top. Place in the microwave for a few seconds to melt the cheese. Squirt some mustard on top, a little more Mayo, and the top of the Baguette.
You can obtain gluten-free Italian Sausages in most larger grocery stores. Please, always read the labels.
